My Story
This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives please take the time to read about other children’s struggles, as an ambassador for this months challenge a well documented journey of Hendrix’s battle with Leukaemia and Type 1 diabetes is included in the home page
A shout out to Ronald McDonald House for all the support they have given to Hendrix , mom and dad, for the past (7) months they have provided accommodation for the family during their extended stay away from home

Moving Day
18 Aug 2025Today was a great day, grandson Hendrix was able to leave Sick Kids after a 6 1/2 month stay after a bone marrow transport (6) weeks ago , he will be staying at R McDonald House for a short time while they monitor his complete recovery , our prayers have been answered
