My Story

I am a little late to the party - have been feeling tired and unmotivated. However I gave my head a shake - I am fortunate in this life that I have not had to deal with cancer nor have any of my children or grandchildren. I read about all the children going through this journey and If I can contribute in a small way to find a cure for this disease, I should have not excuses. So here I am….all signed up. So for the 7th year, this August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

THere are over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and that is a lot of children. It's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So if you feel like supporting my cause/challenge to help these kids , it would be greatly appreciated. Money raised goes to SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
