My cousin Christopher
Christopher passed away after a long battle with cancer at the age of 46.
My Story
This August, 2025, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
I'll be riding 1,000km over the month of August, i.e., long rides on Saturdays and shorter rides during the week. This is the fourth year that I've been participating in this worthwhile endeavour.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer. Also, a new SickKids hospital is being built that will be able to offer better care for cancer patients and do even more research to find a cure.
