My Story

This will be my 5th year riding for the Great Cycle Challenge! Why do I ride? To feel like I’m part of a solution to help fight cancer, because we all know someone affected by it, and because we need funds to help further research toward a cure. Personally, I’ve lost an aunt to cancer, my father has fought it and kickin’ it’s a$$, my sister in law lost her mom to it, my other sister in law is presently fighting for her own life, and not to mention friends and colleagues who have both fought and become stable, and some who lost their battle.

The GCC is for the kids. Some so young and innocent, they can’t even understand what is happening. Their stories are very inspiring. Little fighters who are incredibly strong willed!
