My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Day 4 and off to a good start!

The weather has been amazing this long weekend. I was able to get in four great rides of 5.2 km each. I had a bit of technical issues with the first two rides being recorded on the CCG app but got that fixed by day 3. I just manually entered the first two rides.

I can tell it has been awhile on a bike but I am getting used to it on top of my regular functional training workouts.
