Life happens

Fully intended on finishing out today with a big ride. A couple things got in the way of my plans but still managed another 11 k. Will pass the 150 mark very soon.

Final week

I’ll finish the riding goal within the next couple days. Maybe some extra. The fundraising goal is short but I’ve put the word out the best I can. Everything we have done is help for families affected by childhood cancer. I’m thankful for all my sponsors.

I’ll map my own ride thanks for nothing

The app malfunctioned due to a gps error , or some other issue.

But I know it was wrong because I’ve never ridden across the water 😳

So I mapped it myself. I rode over 22 K in the heat today. It was a good workout.

Down the road and by the lake

This is the way I usually take

If it’s a long ride I’ll take a break

Not like my last ride, that was a mistake.

Down the road and into the forest

Where the birds and the bugs sing a chorus.

Isn’t it nice that God made them for us .

I saw a bunny, a turtle, but not a horse.

Now on my way I’ll soon be home

And that is the end of my little poem

And you thought this was only a bike a thon

Change is good?

I took a different way today just to change it up a little bit . The view was different , but out on a hot highway with cars zipping past is not ideal. The only good thing was the wind at my back on the way home. Next time I’ll go back to one of my regular routes. Not all change is good. 🤨
