Schlage Tribute

Dear Kids and Sponsors,

This year I wrote a paper on Walter Schlage, Founder of Security Services, and wanted to share how surprised I was in Ponoka by finding some of his original lock and key sets (hardware from 1910 - 1925)!! I went to the museum and brain injury facility that opened its indestructible doors during 1910. The adventure was thrilling, I took photos of these historical artifacts and am going to attach this information to my projects in the future! Thank you Dr Campbell and Edith Kemp for your life long contributions!!

Ponoka

I enjoyed the Water Park and wanted to RAVE about the Fort Ostell Museum!! I learned all about Edith Kemp and salute the Walter Schlage display of keys from 1920 - 1960; Founder of Security Services ! This museum is rated 100% - Gold Star Artifacts of Settlers and Mental Health ❤️

Telford Lake

Plan a picnic at Telford Lake in Leduc Alberta; they have the cheapest gas in all of Alberta! I like to ride around the Lake on my bike (7 km in total)! Farmers Market is on Saturday’s (indoor) from 10 am to 1:30pm !! No swimming, only paddle boards….. bird sanctuary !

Innisfail Alberta

Did you know they need goats on the roof of the library? Put Innisfail on your next list for a Road Trip, the Discovery Wildlife PARK has a Campground too; call ahead for a fun weekend!! Sylvan Lake is only 30 minutes away for swimming.

Victory Ride
